Without lift we climb up through stairs to find kylin on 3rd floor which is extreme inside next to pvr.
There dining room was totally empty around 10:30.
When I visited no one was on reception to receive us.
On terrace, there were almost ex pat crowd because of private party, only beer & dance.
They have limited menu options like 4 type of sushi, 4 type of dimsum, 4 dishes each course in terrace.
As I ordered prawn tempura & asparagus tempura roll which was so bad as it was not at all crunchy, too much mayo & rice in Ébi tempura like very saucy as I asked steward to call sushi chef as he had left early, no idea.
Asparagus dimsum inside was good but very bad skin, momo style shape which was over steamed as I asked steward to call Manager, he simply said he is just coming coming, did not turn up which was ridiculous.
nobody come here for food as people love their terrace & drinks which is not long term strategy.
I ordered mangolian chicken satay which was over loaded with sauce like over salty but chicken inside was soft & well cooked.
Lamb chilli hoisin was up market chinese punjabi style lamb, but braising of lamb was perfect.
Than I ordered meal bowl like noodles soup which was burnt like you can’t have even taste of it.means chef has given without tasting the dishes, than I again asked for manager, steward said he is behind the bar, dispensing the drinks as bar tender busy in inventory. Again ridiculous.
Finally I ordered pad Thai, it was having no flavour like & we left food as it is, steward said sorry sir, should I get Hakka noodles as chef made noodles very good but no use of ordering same noodles which I can have it at local van.
Grilled vegetable skewers was having no salt & I asked why there is no salt, excuse was given its fresh & healthy, people use cruit set for vegetable skewers, I simply said if without salt food Is healthy so you should not put salt in any food.
Its good place for party same like ivy but not for food means no long term Sustaining level.
No manager visited once.
Service was very fast.
I like their terrace sitting & music with beer was chilled with foster mug were very good.
Their mixing bowl set with kikkoman sauce pot was looking very good.
I keep asking chef or manager But no one has visited on table than I given feedback to steward, as I complained & did not have food proper, still no apology happened from any senior level.stewards were very good & fast but manager should have lesson from their junior staff.
