With no beginning, middle & end...

Amitabh ji’s dad drilled Shakespeare into the kid; that was long ago. Now Ritu da has used that knowledge to his best. While this movie is without any beginning, middle and end; it s filled with quotable quotes by Shakespeare. Beautiful lines rendered in the baritone of ourmost respected actor.

He sparkles as Prospero but fails as Harishji; he oozes pathos as King Lear but is meaningless with his concubine.

In short, I’d rather have spent the time reading the Bard than wasting my time with a meaningless ensemble of characters. Arjun Rampal acts well but how far can he take it on when all he represents is meaningless silence.

The movie fails as a blockbuster and just blurs into nonsense as an art film.More suited for illiterates than either Shakespeare or Amitabh afficiandos.

Preity Zinta has done a good job at looking the ice-maiden and fits in well with the general aura of gloom that engulfs the movie from the start. For future movie makers; please follow Aristotle and have a perfect beginning, middle and end!
