Tommy boy has finally grown up

This is the second movie that I like of Tom Cruise. The first being Jerry Meguire.

Typical war movie but the cinematography was worth a mention. I’m so so so glad that they didn’t have a love-making scene between the hero and the heroine. Normally you’d always have the hero - a handsome, muscular man..the typical knight in shining armour kind. And the woman would be porcelain. He could break her in his grip. Tender features, shy and all. It’s very much the same here...but they don’t do it.

It was nice to see the hero getting like the b’loreans say ’’thulped - royally’’!

To all those girls who are still living by ’’if wishes were horses, we’d all be married to tom cruise’’..(hmm..I thought they were extinct..but hey..you never who’s round the corner!)...don’t watch it. You’ll cry. Tommy boy gets beaten up pretty bad.

But anyway..grow-up. Go watch it. It’s a nice movie.

My hairs were standing all through the final war scene. Beautiful. Excellent direction.

More about the movie here https://lastsamurai.warnerbros.com/html_index.php

On a personal note: I’m only sharing my opinion here. Infact that’s the main reason why I write stuff here. I don’t want to write about plots etc coz I wouldn’t want to know the plot before I watch a movie. That would be a bummer.

Anything interesting...sure I will let you know..but please don’t bother reading my reviews if you’re looking for mundane details. If not..join the party!

I’m fascinated by the Japanese culture.
