Bhagat Singh's Own Perspective

What can you possibly say for one of the greatest films I have ever seen? If I were to hang a man’s poster in my room as an inspiration Bhagat Singh would be the choice. This is not so much a review for the film but a link to an essay written by Bhagat Singh himself.

I though this would be an ideal outlet for an incredible piece of writing that’s probably been read by least number of people. It is truly incredible that Bhagat Singh was the most courageous and brilliant man ever to live in India and all they would teach us in history was overdose of Gandhi and Nehru. We as a society in India need to rethink our definition of Heroes and Leaders.

I live in US since 1987 so it is hard for me to make a judgement on the patriotism of today’s general Indian population but looking at Indians here in states, I hate to admit it that we have forgotten the real heroes of our land. I came across this article in doing some searches for Bhagat Singh on the Internet.

Please provide your thoughts on the article and the subject. Please goto the link bellow and read the essay by Bhagat Singh himself. Excellent historic document. To think that this was written in 1930 gives me chills.
