The only thing that rules throughout the film is the Animation. I am not finding any appropriate word for it. One can say that Animations are superb, fantastic, fantabulous, marvelous, phenomenal, terrific and the list goes on. They are so real that nobody can make out whether they are Animations or the real characters and effects.
The Story line is based on book by Jr. R. Tolkien. The book is fantastic epic in the Eastern-Central Europe Fantasies revolving around the traditional fight between the Good and the Bad. This book has been awarded as the Book of the Century. However, dont expect the movie to be labeled Movie of the Century. Since, if at the start of 2000, we have this good animation stuff, then I think that by the end of 2100, only Virtual Reality Movies will run through the VR Cinema Centers.
Theres this ring, which is the KING of all the rings, that have been distributed among various inhabitants of the so-called Middle Earth. The list of inhabitants include Humans, Wizards, Dwarfts, Elves, Orcs, Trolls and the Hobbits. The Central Character is one of these hobbits. He has been entrusted the responsibility to destroy the Ring. Accompanying is eight others, who lead him to the destiny. But to destroy the ring, he has to cast off the ring to the same Evil Fire Volcano where it was build. And surrounding the Volcano is the country of Devils. On his path to destiny, his eight fellows follow him honestly, and lead him to the destiny country.
The only flaw that I can think of is Poor Direction. I cant comment on the direction, but on Mouthshut.com Sab Chalta Hai (so what if the director wins the Oscar Award). But, I think that poor direction is highly overshadowed by the Animation Stuff. So, all you Animation as well as Epic loving People, please go out and watch this movie anyhow. It would be worth if you watch the movie for tickets worth around 100 bucks.
And yes, please please dont MISS THE ENDING.
