The Lunchbox comes across as an old melodious song, which picks up pace gradually and soon envelopes you in nostalgia, which embraces and becomes a part of you.The narrative of the movie is spell binding and the select, non-star cast has done complete justice to the story-line with their mind boggling performances. It looks like a page out of everyones mundane life-commuting to work, typical office work environment, fascination with food, neglect in personal relationships etc.You tend to identify yourself with some aspect of the movie, which looks like its mirroring your life.
The twists in the story-line keeps audience glued to their seats and there are many u-turns which no one expects-thus keeping excitement as the narrative unfolds. The climax is equally amazing and leaves viewers asking for more.
A not-to-be-missed movie, which goes on to demonstrate that Indian cinema has matured, with sensible audience who knows what they want, and by flocking to the theaters, they have voted it as a super hit.
A word of caution though-if you are looking for steamy sexy scenes, with fair & lovely-complexion heroines being chased by macho heroes, racy tracks, gory violence, double-meaning dialogues, villain bashing, etc etc-this movie will not pass the test-skip it.
