After the suspense left out in the first edition- The Maze Runner, comes The Scorch Trials; the second installment to the series. I was waiting to catch it as soon as it arrived and I did.
This movie is so gripping and has so many breathtaking moments that it proves to be every money well spent.Guess what, the director has matured through this movie and gives us one of the best action packed thrillers from Hollywood this year. It literally stands up to the tagline: The Maze was just the beginning!
Well, there are several chase sequences, which are neatly done and not dab as average movies portray. There is a sense of lurking terror throughout the film and as audience, I leaned forward for most of the parts. I am not going to reveal the plot- as it will spoil the fun of watching it! But seriously, do not miss it at any cost. If you are an adventure, action, thriller movie lover, then this is a Hollywood production that must not be missed. In the end, I came out wanting the third part. as the adventure still rolls out!
