I think so far critics have overlooked this funny and lighthearted look into a show about married life. Its not meant to be dramatic and Oscar worthy. That’s not why people tune in. It’s like a male version of Sex and the City. It’s not just a look into a married man’s perspective on things but also the female’s perspective. I think the show is creatively written and produced and I personally hope that it will return for more seasons to come. Also, I think the people that compose the music for the show have fantastic taste. I would love it if HBO would release the soundtrack to the show because it’s that good!!! Finally, I think the cast is brilliant and Mike Binder has shown true talent in writing and producing this show. I give the show props and think that HBO has scored another great series.
