Monk who gave Sharma a means to buy a Ferrari

First and the foremost,

Monk who sold his jet.... gave away his Ferrari.... his rockstar mansion, went to Himalayas( I think it would be easier to find Yeti that the so called clan of monks). Come on man, this is balderdash. I mean, coming from a B school.. I thought I had read all the nonsense I can ever do with. But this is like one hell of a revelation in balony.

“Do it cause everybody is doing it. Say it cause everybody is saying it”. Applies well to this best seller. I really do not think many would have the stamina to reach the back of this book. It’s absolutely trashy. What the hell ….. The sentences, the plot and the build up is something which Mr. Best seller Sharma could have done better,

Though I generally dislike self help books, I had seen this so much that I thought this had to be one of the better ones.

Seems like conventional wisdom is after all not purely wisdom. (Well if you want to know more, read Freakonomics… one great piece of work).

I would rate Mr. Sharma as “The Harrold Robbins” of Self help books. Giving us nothing new from his bestsellers.(are these really best sellers.. As per my understanding a book which sells more than 20000 copies becomes one. Considering the number of people who read books, I think we have seriously underestimated India’s readers. This needs a northbound revision).

Thoroughly disappointed Mr. Sharma. I think you need to read some better books (self help if you like).. Consider avoiding your ilk.

My advise : If you have this book…. Gift it to a kid who is in Std 6th or upwards. Might be a value add for them. Anyways, I think that the kids are overworked these days. :)
