The Nawab at Race Course Road is one of my favorite restaurants when it comes to good food at an affordable price. They serve some mouth watering Afghani delicasies that I have ever eaten.
The ambience and the decor of this place is alright, not bad not good either but the food is mind blowing. The food is served traditionally in copper plates and bowls and it makes the experience all the more luxurious.
I come here often and hence have tasted most of the dishes from the menu and I can sincerely say that they are really good. Some of my favorites from Nawab include Kuchha Qorma chops cooked with cashew nuts, onion, pepper and green cardamom. It is super delicious. Other favourites include Khatte Seekh masala which is seekh marinated with kadhai masala. Dahiwale Thareeja which is basically dahi wadas but they are prepared in the Afghani way.
A meal at Nawab’s is pocket friendly and affordable and you are sure to return for more.
