Following IRDAI’s guidelines dt. 20/04/2020, to Health Insurance co.’s permitting Renewal of Health Insurance policies through Installments due to Covid-19 disruptions, I approached New India Assurance Co. Ltd, for payment through installments of my renewal which is due on 03/06/2020. The concerned Branch verbally informed me that they have not received any instructions to renew through Installments. Subsequently after numerous email to various officials, I have received a Communication which implies:"As on date their system is not geared up to accept Renewals through Installments."
I am a 63 year old Non- pensioner and by 3rd June 2020, I will have to pay Rs.56092/- for renewal, including renewal of my 86 year old mother’s policy.
My desperate email appeal to their CMD is unanswered till 26th May 2020.
However I am happy with their Claims settlement records.
