Me & my husband used to be huge fans of this place simply because we loved the food. Not because the eating joint had a lot of varieties or an extensive menu, but few dishes were our favorites and we used to repeat old orders almost every time. But the element that we have always hated was the service and the attitude of the attendants there. The attitude of the waiters there is absolutely pathetic. Starting from the manager to the smallest staff, everyone comes with a weird attitude. You have to wait really long before someone comes and attends to you (this can be as basic as giving you the menu card also!) and then again the long preparation time which is tiring.
The waiters do not respond to you even after repeatedly waving at them or calling them. We still continued going there for the sheer love for the food. But a recent incident has totally pissed us off and we have decided not to go there ever again. Just to let you know how horrible the service can turn to be m quoting the incident here. So we had reached the restaurant early evening and it was all empty. It was drizzling outside. The moment we reached, somebody came and told us that food would be delayed because it was raining and some crap. I mean , is this how u really treat ur customers?? We were like wow...thats fine. We had couple of bags with us including our laptop bags. The two- sitting tables there, are very congested hence we decided to take a 3 sitting table since there was absolutely nobody around.
As soon we started towards the table, the hotel manager (wish could remember his name) almost ran towards us and said all big tables were reserved. This was inspite of him knowing us and recognizing us as the regular customers. We tried convincing him that if people start coming in and if there was a need, we would leave the table. He was not ready to listen to anything and kept saying that we should not occupy any big tables. He almost started throwing fits. He was loud and extremely rude in his conversation. We decided to leave the place immediately and we did give him a piece of mind before leaving.
The old bunch of waiters have all left and the new bunch of people are nothing but just some messy bundle of arrogant fools. I would suggest everyone to think twice before going there. At end of everything, u really don’t want an unpleasant experience when u go out for a meal with family and friends!
