U dont wanna miss this

Starting off with the Grammy winner Fallen and with the sensational concert, Anywhere But Home Evanescence is back with their new album The Open Door. The vocalist Amy Lee has done magic while the lyrics spellbound you forcing you to think on them and when you succeed to do that you realize that ‘WOW’.(The previous review was so short I cant believe it got submitted).

Call Me When You’re Sober, the album starts off with this song. It reached no 1 position on the Billboard and is a fantastic song. The music is strong with a strong piano played by Amy Lee. The lyrics are fantastic and this song sends a chill down your spine.

Weight Of The World, this track follows call me and does well. It has what you call good lyrics and make an impact on only those who allow it. This song is for open and free souls not critical ones. The vocals keep on getting better with every passing second.

Sweet Sacrifice, it is a deadly song with even more deadly https://lyrics. Its video is very gruesome, in a positive way. Its music grows on you and the vocals touch your heart in a way you never expected. It is one of the finest songs of the album.

Lithium, it is my favorite track of the album. If call me sent a chill down your spine, then this one will do so more. The track is soft with less of the rock instinct but so strong in its own sense. It’s very impactful and has so great lyrics that you get tears in your eyes. The vocals are outstanding and is one of the most touching songs of the album.

Cloud Nine, here’s where things get ugly. The lyrics are dreary and the music is so haunting that it may scare some of the light-hearted people. Lovely music and is one of the most critically acclaimed songs of the album. Amy does such a great job with the vocals that it’s hard to believe that can anybody be as good as her. The song is about telling about your unsatisfied and unfulfilled love to yourself and saying to yourself that “Remember that all alone is where I belong”.

Snow White Queen, this song is very brilliantly written and the conception behind this song is very marvelous. The song is about bitter love. The lyrics are again fantastic and the music just keeps getting better. By now you will be so indulged that it will be hard to get back to reality after this album.

Lacrymose andLose Control are very good songs but they don’t put as a great impact as the other ones do. They are still fabulous on their own and the latter is also one of the dreary ones.

Like You, is a soft song. This is actually dedicated to Amy’s sister who passed away. This song will definitely touch your heart and will bring tears in you eyes. “*I long to be like you sis, lie cold in the ground like you did, there’s room inside for two, I’m not grieving for you, I’m coming for you”. *Fantastic music and lyrics are very emotional.

The Only One and Your Star are very catchy and will grow on you. Very unique music and the vocals deserve a standing ovation here. The album by far will deserve a 4 star rating and all the appreciation in the world.

Good Enough, things change here when the album reaches its last track. The 4-star rating goes to a 5-star rating and all the appreciation of the world falls less. Such a fantastic music that you get goose bumps as the song starts. This is the best song of the album in the sense of lyrics and vocals and perhaps in everything. The video is very good as Amy is a vampire telling her love that after all you have done to me, you have conquered me, tortured me, I have lost myself but I don’t mind because I feel good enough for you. The last lines are very touching, “*And I’m still waiting for the rain to fall, pour in life down on me, ‘cause I cant hold on to anything that’s good enough, am I good enough for you to love me too, so take care what you ask me, ‘cause I cant say no to you”.

Not even the greatest critic in the world can express in the right way of how fantastic the album is. You have to listen it to believe it. Your sense of music will change after this album. It is infact a masterpiece.
