Great Movie; hopeless Cause.

Astounding film. Tremendous in scope and wrenching with ability of enormous compassion. But, for what purpose?

My personal intake on The Passion of the Christ was about nothing more than one critic’s viewpoint. The movie was beautifully made, perfectly perhaps... although no movie could be made more perfectly than Casablanca, in my opinion. The impact of The Passion was astounding, but worthless to me. I regret watching the film only because people like me don’t intentionally wish to see that sort of thing being done to anyone, Jesus Christ in this case.

I hear rumors of the movie trying to ’’build faith’’ for people all around the world, and to help appreciate more of what Jesus had wanted to do by coming to earth. There are enough problems on the earth, and too much selfishness. The looters could care less about movies like The Passion. Deep down, you know that people are going to return to their own hypocrisy.

Hypocrisy, I believe, is the key reason why everything is such a mess. It’s the cavity of problems, the shadow that gives everyone denial issues. I wish people could change from this movie... but things are only going to get worse. The only people I see actually making some kind of dent in anything at all are Jehovah’s Witnesses. I wonder sometimes what it takes for them to be so ’different’, which makes me feel apprehensive towards their beliefs.

I believe we all should remember that the best way is not the easiest. Watching a movie, and accepting it, crying for it, is not enough, making it the easy way. What must be done by accepting Jesus is far more difficult than anyone cares to face because people love the world too much to change. How sad. Who am I to hold this claim against everyone? I am no one to be glorified or to be agreed with. These are my beliefs, and I stand by every one.

By the way, I personally did not like who casted as Jesus Christ. & Personally, I loved Jesus of Nazareth a whole lot more. Billions more! I was able to get in touch with him, and love him, had me nearly convinced that this guy was too close playing the way Jesus may really have been!
