Russian bad guys steal some nuclear warheads from a train. Good Military Dude (Clooney), and Nuclear Expert (Kidman) are the two American wunderkinds appointed to find the warheads and save the world from a possible nuclear disaster.
A very boring movie.
PLOT:
First of all why did I watch this movie in the first place as I never expected it to be good in any way....I watched it ’coz it came on star movies & ’coz of GEORGE CLOONEY ...he is one cool dude unrivalled in hollywood...I’ve become his fan after ’FROM DUSK TILL DAWN’.
Mostly unexciting, that doesn’t really offer us any real action or suspense until the last half an hour. Clooney does okay in his wise-cracking, super-Special-Forces dude role(I think he will never be boring ever...he is truely a HUNK...watch him in FROM DUSK TILL DAWN), while Kidman was nothing to write about. The rest of the cast just seem like a bunch of people standing around and taking orders from either of the two stars. And coincidentally enough, both stars always seem to be right. huh!!!
Totally lacking in originality, but well made all around, production values were good(looked like money was not a problem while making the movie but originality was surely lacking)... afterall it was the first movie of dreamworks.
I suggest watch this movie only if there is nothing else good on tv ...& u can always watch it while changing channels & still not miss anything interesting in the movie...;coz theres nothing interesting at all to be missed:)
