The Pro Kabaddi League is a very good event to promote Kabaddi in INDIA. I am very happy that organisers like Mashal sports are enthusiast about promoting such sports which is almost faded away from INDIA. Although it is believed that Kabaddi is the national gmaes of INDIA but it is not, as INDIA has officially not declared any sports as their National Sports.
Kabaddi is an ancient sport which originated in Ancient INDIA, though it was originated in TAMIL NADU the southern state of INDIA, other forms were developed from the Northern part of INDIA. We can find the evidence of KABADDI in the epic MAHABHARATA. there was also some reference that Lord KRISHNA used to play KABADDI. So these were some facts about KABADDI, now after such long period and for the first time, reviving KABADDI in a form of league is an outstanding job by the organisers. Thanks to some of the great sportsman and bollywood celebrities for coming forward and buying some teams like U MUMBA, JAIPUR PINK PANTHERS etc. In this PRO KABADDI LEAGUE many foreign players are also hired in the teams which is very good for the players, so they can caramalize themselves with International Players.
My favourite team in PRO KABADDI LEAGUE is U MUMBA. AND my favorite player is ANUP KUMAR the captain of the team.
