*Punjabi Rasoi
Location Near Iskcon Temple Rajaji Nagar
*Before coming to Bangalore I had heard that Food specially North Indian Food is a problem in Bangalore. You normally dont get that taste.I was staying in Malleshwaram so I heard and saw this small Punjabi restaurent.
*First Look Very Important:
When I saw it first It was just a small roombetter word will be a shop Some students/Boys were sitting on plastic chairs with a big central table and Punjabi food was being served.Only 8 people could sit in that room and some were standing out side.So first impression not that great I thought its a small Rasoi But Then a thoght came to my mind that in such places sometimes food is very good or a bit homely. So I tried A normal plate was having 2 tandoori roti and any seasonal dal(rajmah on that day) and pyaj and a small quanity of rice. Also Tandoori Paranths were there like Gobhi, pyaj, alu and also missi roti.
Food Taste: Excellent It was just the perfact Punjabi food
Rates: 15-20 Rs Thali at that time(Now its around 30 Rs or so) Parantha 10-15 Rs Tandoori as well as tawa parantha
Food Menu: Any punjabi food Rajmah, Kadi, chole, Poori chole, cole bhature, Saag and for non vegetarians also different food(I didnt try as I am a vegetarian)
After the first trial I bacame a regular customer and Specially Breakfast is too good(poori alu, chole and bhatoore).I love Lassi and thandi kheer
Also Samosa, Bread pakora and Chai full glass(not a small cup we normally get in bangalore)
There is also a sitting place on the first floor for the family which I came to know after 10-15 days I have gone on the first floor also.Sitting place is ok not very highfy decor .Its simple As per I know there is no difference if you eat on first floor or down so service is free
