A one-time-watch suspense

Al Pacino, Colin Farrell, Bridget Moynahan

Al Pacino (Walter Burke) is a senior instructor for the CIA who recruits Colin Farrell (James Douglas Clayton), an MIT whizkid who refuses an offer from a big computer firm because he wants to know more about his late father, a CIA agent who was presumably killed.

Clayton is taken to The Farm, where during the entrance exam he locks eyes with the lovely and fragrant Layla Moore (Bridget Moynahan). The movie then goes on to the training programs of the CIA recruits. The training process is entertaining and fast. The build up to the climax goes on smoothly. I won’t reveal more - it will spoil the fun. It is a one-time watch movie. If you know the ending beforehand, you wouldn’t like it much.

Al Pacino’s performance is fun to watch - gruff, blunt and his usual weathered charm. Colin Farrell does well and Bridget Moynahan complements him rather nicely.
