Second book by the author Amish Tripathi, reveals the story of the Nagas who fought against the Suryavanshi’s along with the Chandravansi’s in the first book. The plot picks up right where the first book left off, the Neelkanth has been revealed in the first book, ’The Immortals Of Meluha’.
In this book Shiva soughts for vengeance against the Nagas who killed one of his close associates and now is after Sati. Sati gives birth to a child and is forced to stay back in Kashi where as Shiva goes in search of the Naga responsible for all the devastations. This book reveals that the Naga who is behind Sati’s life is non other than her long lost son Ganesh, who is accompanied by his aunt and Sati’s twin sister Kali.
