The secret wish list by Preeti Shenoy is a book of housewife and her wishes. The readability of this book is good enough to make it interesting while reading. This book covers the story of housewife Diksha, a 35 years old woman, stuck in a bad marriage because she committed a silly mistake when she was 16 years old. She kissed her a boy, Ankit, with whom she had fallen in love. This was caught by her parents and sent her to her aunt’s place. They forced her to get married at 19. Diksha’s husband is insensitive who believes in old principles and traditions. She thought mentally battered and bruished, stick to him because she doesn’t have courage to live alone because of her nine years old son. But sudden twist in her cousin’s life make Diksha to realize that life is too short. She wants to enjoy the things that give her happiness.
