In the sence of an ending, the actor Jim Broadent playes the role of Tony Webster as an old man who is emotionally broken down.
The movie started it’s life when Tony receives a surprise letter from the mother of his ex girl friend.
The letter informing him that he is been left an artifact in the will of the mother of his college ex girl friend.
The movie is based on Julian Branes Booker prize winning novel of the same name. The director Ritesh Batra tried his best to convert the emotional effect of the novel to the film and he was partly successful. The movie is a good one with good theme but it was not ao good as its original novel. Still the movie is worth watching it gives a good message. Its a fight to find himself during the late days of his life.
