Magnificent story

This is genuinely one of the most remarkable novels I have ever read. At least I know why Evelyn recruited Monique, the worst journalist of the year, to write her biography. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is a quintessential beach read.    Throughout the entire book Evelyn is confronted with bi-phobia but she always took it in stride! I loved the way Taylor Jenkins Reid gave Evelyn a voice though. Evelyn Hugo didn’t accept those prejudices.   It’s so rare to meet such a complex character in a book but damn Evelyn. She was neither white nor black, and if anything she was all different shades of grey.
