I watched the movie without having any knowledge about what to expect, because frankly, I didn’t have the foggiest inkling about what is going to happen and then Shawshank took over me like the beautiful piece of art it is. The characters of Red and Andy are phenomenal, but somehow I cried the most for the little old guy Brooks. Such a heartfelt movie that teaches the value of friendship and hope and also shows justice for the underdog touches the strings of the heart. To any viewer this movie is not only a delight, but a revelation as well.
