Truth be told.....

Actually I also read this book years ago but I think I can review it as well.i had it for a long time and boredom forced me to finally read it.burned a couple of dinners reading this book.lol!you see this book only brings to light the fact that corruption lives and breathes in every society, the method of covering tracks is the only difference.

the book is about micheal fiske who is a supreme court lawyer and finds a brief addressed to him which contained the simple truth as told by rufus harms who has been in jail for the last 20years for a crime he didnt commit but is however being made to pay for.this letter results in micheal being killed and his estranged brother john fiske who is a cop turned lawyer is called in to identify his brother’s body.

this paves the way for an all out investigation which on a juorney of intrigue, violence, murder, power plays, cover ups at its best and a myried of other issues that I think most authors downplay.but I guess david baldacci is anot afraid to tell it like it is.almost every chapter has you literally holding your breath and most times you skip a few lines just to find out what happens next.i mean john and the chick from the court who hook up to find out why his brother was killed and the story begins to unravel right slow but steady until you want to just rip out the pages to get to the end.

its a great book.
