Yes, the Simpsons may be a very funny serial, but there are two questions at the back of everone’s mind when they watch this programme- Are the Simpons and everbody in their world infected by jaundice? Or are they just Chinese? Seriously, of all the colours, why did Matt Groening choose yellow for the skin tone? He didn’t use it for the Futurama characters!
Enough criticism for one day...
The simpsons is a marvelous sitcom, with corny stories, and an amazing level of stupidity ( not that thats a bad thing...).
Description of the characters:
Homer Simpson : Being the head of the family, he has lots of responsibilities and jobs to do ( none of which he does ). However, he is a caring father and a loving husband. He is also a carnivore with a large appetite.
Marge Simpson : Marge probably has one of the wackiest hairstyles in all of showbiz. She is a loving mother and also the only non smoker among her sisters.
Bart Simpson : Probably the most important characterin the show. His sarcasm and critical opinions towards everythisng makes him popular. Something like Calvin from the ’’Calvin And Hobbes’’ strip, right?
Lisa Simpson : Lisa is probably the only intelligent charachter in the whole series. She is a typical sister and always has her opinion on family affairs (Since Homer doesn’t give much input)
Maggie Simpson : This is the only character which has never said a singe word since the beginning. Why? She’s a baby!
She is never seen without her red pacifier and baby gown. Usually spotted in the crib or on Marge’s lap.
