Luxury all the way...

Those sun drenched beaches, those swaying palm trees, a cool drink in hand and lying on that hammock what more could a tired software engineer need?

Yes, I do remember Goa and one of the reasons why I haven’t forgotten it is because of the place we stayed in - The Tag Holiday Village. We stayed in the main complex and not one of the adjoining cottages. The hotel is a fair way away from the airport so be prepared for an hours drive before you get there, but once there life’s stresses and strains just melt away..... ZZZZzzzzzz Ops sorry!

The hotel is big with 3 wings, each wing housing

a fair few rooms (I don’t remember how many rooms it has). The rooms are more like small flats with an entrance porch, a well-equipped bathroom a huge bedroom with a king size bed, settees, television, fridge and even a balcony with a patio set. The rooms are well decorated and lit but then again that’s what we have come to expect from the Tag group of hotels - excellence.

The hotel has three restaurants catering to every taste and does have a bar-b-que in the evening where you can pick your own fresh fish/seafood and it is cooked there right in front of you.

There is a swimming pool and a poolside bar so you can just relax and enjoy a leisurely drink if you want or visit the health club for that massage. They also have tennis courts, snooker tables and a gym if you want something to do.

The hotel also has live bands during the day and there is always some sort of entertainment lined up for the evenings.

One place definitely worth a stay in, ev
