Takshent , A political motive rather than Movie

The election fever is at the pinnacle right now. All the political parties are busy in their own exercises of wooing the voters . There is a kind of anxiety among the people of what will be the election results and effect on them. At this juncture a very controversial movie The Tashkent Files has been released which nurtures a question among the minds of some people regarding the timing of it's release. However the people should themselves understand that it is a movie which is far more different than the real life and should not impact the mind of the voters to develop a room of discontentment against a specific political parties.

As far as the movie is concerned, it is directed by Vivekananda Aghnihotri who is known for his stupendous works likeTraffic Jam, Hate Story, Chocolate and the recent critically acclaimed film The Urban Naxals: The Making of Buddha in a Traffic Zag. The Tashkent Files is a political sensational drama that has tried to unveil the Dark truth related with the Death of India Second Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Sashtri. The whole sequence of the movie has poised an important question which is part a controversiap true that whether Sashtriji death was a natural death Or a well engineered Assassination?

The movie stars Naseerudin Shah and Motrin Chakravorty in the lead role, however the characters played them has failed to make larger impact to the movie. The movie starts with a young journalists which is played by Sweta Basu Prasad publishing an article on Sashitris Deaths which poises a question mark to the Indian Govt. Aftermath a committee is setup where different experts from the important sectors becomes the member of this facts finding committee.

The political historiical incident that shook the very base of Indian Politics that time has been somehow failed to portray the times of 1966. Most of the viewers were seen to be criticising the artwork of the movie. The lead character of a journalist has a partially hold the very essence of the movie till the end but most of the time even it was looking an inorganic character.

The background score directed by infamous composer Rohit sharma were bit irrating and louder which seems to have failed to grasp the should of the moments in the movie.

Various good actors including Pankaj Tripathi pallavi Joshi, Mandira Devi and others are also been castes in the movie but their individual characters was scripted in an unproffesional as could not hold the water.

The political crisis and system of Government running process has somehow enlightened the mood of the critics but as a whole it was the movie was just a half-cooked Truth. So I would give 3 out of 5 stars .
