When I heard about this place I wondered as to how this was different from a milkshake. I guess the difference is in the addition of milk in milkshake, which is missing in a thick shake, the reason this one is supposed to be thick.
They have ready creations to choose from or you can create your own shake for a fixed price by choosing an ice cream flavour, 2 solid mix-ins and one syrupy kind of topping which will not be blended but just topped.
Any additional mix-ins or toppings have extra charges. We got to make our own shakes. One was white chocolate ice-cream with strawberry wafers, ferrero rocher and chocolate sauce.
The other was a hazelnut ice-cream with strawberry cake, strawberry sticks and orange syrup.
On the taste front the thick shakes were super yummy, with the first creation being tastier than the second one we had. They were very rich, creamy and calorie loaded.
They were not as thick as I had expected them to be. Just a bit thicker than a milk shake, not much.
And I would also have loved if the toppings were not completely ground so you can feel a piece or two of the mix-ins.
