Of, course Mr. Chetan Bhagat is an icon of Indian writing youth. I hardly dare to say about his great writing "the 3 mistakes of my life".
But I can share some points with my fellow readers regarding the taste I felt while reading the book.
If you do not know about Gujrati and particularly about the living style of Ahmedabad, you read this book you will understand the complete pros and cons of Ahmedabad city and about the Gujrati people.
A considerable fact about common young youth is developing in the story of this book along with his friends relationships.
How he struggled in his life to get back a proper situation is over all the main theme of the story.
I do not want to go into deep as common people have to read this review. I try to avoid literary figure of speech too.
A common boy wants to become the great man in the sense successful person in his life but failed started a cricket shop as his lively-hood and continued tution to add some extra amount to his earnings.
He had beautiful moments with his friends sister and went ahead with some wrong steps.
Then Gujrat riots led to other fatal circumstances to the story.
However, the story does not have much phylosophical impact. There is no hidden ideas to understand a simple and plain story.
I think the book is so popular because of its some added masala, which is written in a common style therfore, readers like it very much.
