Bollywood overdose- review

Chetan Bhagat!!!! The name is Famous among Indian readers for fiction novel. The name of the author is the only factor for which I have brought this book. As I have read his previous two books and found him as a creative and imaginative writer, with a quality of spontaneity in his story telling. Out of his three novels,  "Five point someone", is the most appreciable one. Then in "One night @ call centre" is not that much mind catching because of some filmy presentation of the story but else wise it not that bad. Now this "Three Mistakes of my Life" is totally got in to the bollywood style.

The title would be better if it is "Four Mistakes of my life". Because in the book he shares the three mistakes of one of his character and fourth one would be writing all those in this novel.

I think the ghost of Bollywood is over the head of Mr. Writer*. The total story is presented in a typical bollywood movie form. During the presentation of last scenes, it madly got filmy and after reading, a feeling of, a typical Hindi movie of 70’s, is running in front of your eyes. Because of this, you got some what distracted while reading and continuation cannot be established throughout.

The concept of the novel is nice. It deals with three peoples, day today instances in which money, poverty, business, love, emotions, friendship, drama, tragedy, harmony  all are inserted as beads to make it a complete beautiful necklace. Also you will find chetan Bhagat’s element in this whole story....; ),  as it also have a nice love story . Some parts raise the communal behavior of Indian society and give a nice message in the end. So, overall as a Hindi movie, every Masala is there but in the end product is not so much interesting at all. Dramatic presentation makes it heavy dose for readers.

For readers who didn’t use their brain while reading, this is a better book to read but for those who really use their brain then they would have a tough time on this novel’s journey.

Language as usual not that much complex.  Writing style used here is charming but plot is total filmy.

But still I would suggest if you have lot of spare time, then it must deserve, one time read otherwise not for you.

At last I must say, you will have a fabulous bollywood experience during the way through this Filmy novel.
