The best of Chetan Bhagat

The three mistakes of my life, this book is one of the the best books I had ever read. This story is not very lengthy and is not boring too, it is a very interesting story to keep a reader engaged within it the whole day. I had bought this book a year ago and after I started reading it from the first page I got indulged into the story and almost completed half of the story in 2 days which I thought was impressive as I never got indulged to such a extent by reading some other author’s books. Chetan Bhagat is a very realistic writer who gives life to its characters while reading I found myself involved in this story as if I had really lived it being a character of the story. The story is about life of three youths Omi, Ishan and Govind. Omi was the son of a priest and had a political background, Ishan was a cricketer who wanted to represent his country in cricket but wasn’t able due to his father and Govind was a good student who gave tutions to other junior students and his mother did business to fulfill their needs. They three decided to open a school for students in which Govind would give tutions to them and Ishan would give cricket lessons for those who are interested. Ishan showed his interest in a muslim boy who had great cricket skills. The story is about how they entered into great loss due to the earthquake in Gujurat which put their dreams down. It shows how they protect the muslim boy in this story. It also has a love story between GOvind and Ishan’s sister. This Chetan Bhagat story shows about the suffering and how they deal with this situation in this story.
