Ok, first let me clarify... this review has nothing to do with the TOI (times of India)... its it bout the headlines of today... its about the college girl who got raped by a cop at marine drive... I read this at 8:00 am today...n I jus looked at my 19 yrs sister who was sleeping soundly, unaware of all this... my heart skipped a beat.. this could happen to her anytime... what would be her fault... what must be going on in the house of that female who faced this pathetic situation yesterday????
n since then I want to scream out... but I was even lost of words... wanted to punish that man who didn’t realize what he was doing... just wanted him to realize the scar he put on that girl’s heart forever... and now absolutely nothing would ever make up for it.... I just didn’t know where to go.. whom to talk to... then MS came to my mind... and then I didn’t know in which section to put this up... so here I am…
this world has really become such a ugly place... so dirty, so unsafe, so inhuman, so insensitive....
do people even realize what they are upto??? when a mother strangles a 5 day old baby because she feels she dint need him??? when students they kill their principal jus because he punished them for a lecture???? when a child hits her parent to death out of rage when she is asked to study??? when a father rapes his own daughter??? when a 16 yr old boy kidnaps his 8 yrs old neighbor for a ransom and then kills him with the fear of being caught??? when a guy throws acid on his girlfriend’s face because she refused him??? when a thief kills a person jus to rob him for a few thousands??? when a servant stabs a nagging housewife??? when a husband kills his wife over an argument???? WHAT IS ALL THIS???? WHO DO WE TRUST????
for God’s sake, this is everyone’s planet... we all have the right to live.... each one is given a life by God.. and no other human has the right to take a life or deprive someone of a reason to live... life is very very precious... each one of us have only one life... and we all want to live it to the fullest and with dignity.. when we can’t give life to someone, what right have we to cause death...
we all think that this may not happen to us... that it usually happens in the slums where uneducated or very poor people dwell.. but that is not the case... look around... there is such a case in every neighbourhood...
this is an earnest request to each one of you... pls don’t let anger overcome u that u don’t realize what u may do.... pls think, we all have a family and we love them alot.. then why harm someone else... who is also a part of someone’s family... pls. help everyone and anyone who is a victim of someone’s rage.. pls dont turn away...
