Other designations :- pinkos, pinkis, pseudo-commies, pseudo-gandhis, pseudo-everything have also been understated and overused.
So then I thought hey .. We are talking about a newspaper review here aren’t we? And the most forthrightly ’liberal’ newspaper of them all.
The intrepid one that boldly presents the Kama-sutra as Indian heritage to our youth and the Ram-Janmabhoomi (PBUH) as not.
Oh well, welcome to the p0rn0-secular joyride of TOI, the colorful, oversexed and ultra-extravagant daily that is used as proof by Thai hooker unions that their jobs may be outsourced
Obviously, my views might sound bigoted (and offensive) to some. Sorry for betraying my political affliations so early into this review but let me tell you how I suddenly decide to write a review after months of absence from MS.
About a week ago I when I was still subscribing to TOI, I read an editorial in the centre page about what began as a (pleasantly surprising!) mockery of the Left(out) parties and somehow managed to allude my idol/mentor/demigod exPM Atalji to the unholy antagonist of the Bolshevik revolution -> Rasputin. Yes. Omg! :O
I finally decided I had had enough of this biased bullcrap and decided to have my youthful voice heard by the:

I would like to congratulate Mr (Failed JNU Professor/Intellectual) on his brilliant attempt at almost reaching the end of his article without blaming the Nazi Janta Party. This is indeed a new feat and I would like to commend your paper for its high journalistic morality and ambivalence, by incessantly criticising how the Nazi Janta Party is out to ruin the ’moral and secular fibre’ of our country which has reached insurmountable zeniths of opulence in fifty five years of subsequent Indira-Rajiv-Narsimha emergency and ocassionaly democratic rule.
I would also like to add that this is my fifth letter to your newspaper and none of them have been featured in your ’letters to editor’ section only (supposedly) because of my slightly pro-majority views, and if you do not give this consideration, I will expose you to your rival newspaper or shut your mouth at MOUTHSHUT.COM

TOI and Sexual Perversion
Lets do away with the obvious part first. TOI owns every other daily as far as graphic potrayal of nudity is concerned. TOI conjures up more polls on ’sex life of Indians’ than cosmopolitan, debonair and other p0rn0 publications. Every week or two you will have a new poll result in which Indians are the most ’sexually active people on earth’ or how us Indians are getting bolder by engaging in pre-marital sex and post-marital-relations.
This category of poll results are always a front page feature, and only less frequent than the daily’s ’Nazis are destroying Indian culture’ polls.
Unfortunately, my first introduction to TOI was at school during the impressionable age of puberty. My school would distribute copies of the newspaper to eager 14 yr olds who would chaff through to the last copies of Delhi Times The single greatest corruptor of young minds, in the masquerade of modernity and liberation.
No young kid respects the TOI for its news and views on the strengths and culture of our Great Republic(over 50 percent of India is below 30) Ask anyone and he will give you only the ’back page of Delhi Times’ reason. I am a spunky 20 yr old and thanks to TOI I already feel sex is the second most overrated act on earth (after Cricket)
Talking about the city magazine, the page three culture that TOI is attempting to force down our throats is disgusting. Whoseover cares if the pet retriever of some goddamned transvetite model got drunk and laid at a socialite party.
The real heroes of our country are the ones fighting at our borders. The ones TOI seems to aknowledge only when a Mig-21 ’’flying coffin’’ crashes or someone in Manipur gets killed by the ’gun-happy’ army.
Selling News and Buying Silence
On March 05, 2003, The pseudo-secular newspaper world was cast into turmoil over. There was the furore, within media circles, over The P0rn0 Times of India group deploying ’paid content’ -- or what in plain words means -- selling news.
This anti-national group has a division called Medianet
(see https://medianet.indiatimes.com), complete with a rate card for the sale of news.
For lay readers, it must be clarified that the sale of news is different and distinct from paid advertisements, advertorials or special supplements, all of which are clearly identified as ’sponsored features, ’ while paid news is not.
Such spurious news has included gushing endorsements of flop movies, fashion and lifestyle products and the promotion of hotels and restaurants that enter into a payment arrangement with the organisation.
The reader has no clue that the adulatory report is nothing but a paid advertisement masquerading as objective reportage or opinion.
I think that is about enough reason to make you junk your TOI subscription
TOI and Commie-Secularism, comrade
I read somewhere that ’The Hindu’ (dont be fooled by the name) is a sister publication of the TOI. The news came as a shock to me and not as much as a shock to me. The Hindu for those of you who dont know is an established mouthpiece of the Left parties of India.
These parasitical Leftists may be a marginalised lot in politics, but in media and academia, they are found everywhere, to the left, right and centre. In fact, after the banishment of their ideologies to political oblivion, these varsities have been their sole asylum. They are media darlings of the highest order.
Their blank mental-spaces are fertile breeding grounds for intellectual weed, conjuring up fabulous self-serving ideas which, aided by grants and doles from public money, become text books, research papers and newspaper editorials.
Hypocrites like Arundhati Roy(TOI) are used by them to conjure fascinating works of imaginative fiction, and with their collective hatred for anything Hindu, they form a very potent demolition squad, drafted to pull down the super-structure of Indian culture and its hoary past, through newspapers like TOI
Dont get me wrong, I draw part of my blood from the minority community(Parsee from my mother’s side) but I am Indian first and cannot deny to see that Hinduism as the soul of India, is under threat from evangelic eagles in the anti-Hindu media
who instill academic and journalistic falsehoods over real news and history which are either hidden beneath the gaze of even cursory inquiry or erased beyond memory’s reach forever.
