Times Of INDIA has failed to live up to the mark of a newspaper committed to investigative journalism , its coverage on social issues have been waning day by day and has relegated as an mouthpiece and photo-op for celebrities business bigwigs and socialites.
I do not recommend TOI as a newspaper but definitely recommend TOI as a good TABLOID , I hope it will completely shed what ever remains in it of a ’newspaper’ and harbour in everything which would call it a full-fledged TABLOID.
As I had already mentioned it’s news coverage is superficial and does not have any form of reportage whatsoever. Corporate lineage has rendered its objectivity as a oblivion. however TOI is a good read for leisure and recreation, but a NO for serious news followers.
