I saw that the earlier reviews of this hotel were positive but the latest ones were bad. I still took a chance reading about the location, view etc etc. Sadly, the hotel is down in the dumps. It woud have a nice retreat some time ago but its is mostly run down now. They place 2 smal soaps, one one ruppee shampoo sachet and one one ruppee oil sachet in teh name of toiletries. The service is pathetic(imagine them no serving the complimentary breakfast in the room. So, you have to forsake brakfast if you want to sleep late). The food too is okay at best. They have to improve a lot to be a good option again.
The nicest thin abt that hotel is the teh Kings Cliff retaurent cum hotel right next to it. On most days, I would just go ther, sit by the fire, enjoy dinner and come back to the hotel late.
