The Eagles Greatest Hits is and has always been one of my favorite albums. I know all of the words to every song on the entire album! The lyric reach out and allows you to have a ’’Peaceful, Easy Feeling’ in the process. Ok, ok, ’’Take It Easy, ’’ I’m getting to the review.

This was one of the very first albums I ever owned! I now have it on album, cassette and CD. My favorite song on the album is ’’Desperado.’’ Desperado is a very deep song about a cowboy ... ’’Why don’t you come down from those fences, you’ve been riding too long...’’

The music and lyrics on this album are poetic, deep, and spiritual without being religious. The songs talk of love, loss, peace and pain. ’’Driving down the road trying to loosen my pain, I’ve got seven women on my mind...’’ nothing quite beats this song when you have to be on the road and your thinking of everything waiting for you back home.

I would very highly recommend this to anyone who truly appreciates music at it’s best. The Eagles Hell Freezes Over album is good, pick this one up - it outshines the Hell Freezes Over album anyday! This one can truly be appreciated by any generation, my 19yr old and I (currently 35) enjoy listening to it together!

If you enjoy the Eagles, America, is another group you would probably enjoy. One of my favorite songs by them is ’’A horse With No Name.’’
