The best from JHC

’’There’s a hippie on the highway’’ is an awesome book from James Hadley Chase. It is a story of an ex-paratrooper who looked forward to have a peaceful time in Paradise City. But when he got there, he is drawn into a lethal set-up where dumped corpses, smuggling operations, hired killers, over-ambitious cops and a nymphomaniac double-crosser called Nina tend to make his life HELL!

This is the first book from JHC that I read and I loved it so much that I bought all his books that I could lay my hands on (12 books to be honest).

The twist and turns are very unexpected and after reading the first chapter I was so impressed by the writing style and storyline that I finished this book on the second day (night) at 4:30 am !!

I’ve read only four of JHC’s books (others are waiting) and undoubtedly this is the best. I’m hoping to write several other reviews within a month. Other recommended books are ’In Vain Shadow’, ’Well now, my pretty’, ’You are lonely when you are dead’ .
