I’m Apurva Jain from Delhi and decided to take Grand Bargain Europe Tour from Thomas Cook after my family suggested the same. I took the trip starting from 21st August with my colleague Shalleja Singla; however, I went a week before on 15th August to London for a family reunion and this way I was able to complete the entire London myself by the start of the Trip.
Talking about my Tour with Thomas cook that started on August 21st, I met Mr. Custodio Fernandez, our tour manager on the day of my check-in at Heston Hyde Hotel, London, he addressed all of us and gave us an idea about the whole itinerary, had great knowledge about the places we visited(history, people, culture, markets) etc, was quite patient, chirpy and a happy go lucky person with great communication skills.
All in all he played his part well and so did our coach captain, Mr.Lukasz Biront who was a joyful and chilled out person from Poland, he drove us safely throughout and the coach was quiet comfortable. All the arrangements(food, hotels, transportation, Guides etc) were superb. There was huge variety of cuisines such as Indian, Chinese, South Indian, Italian etc. We were a group of 34 people; all like a family and all cooperated well with each other; we are all connected with each other now via social media( such as WhatsApp, fb). The excursions such as Jungfrau and Lido Show(French Cultural Programme) are both must a go, one should definitely go for it. In Austria, we had a small dance party which was a night full of fun with some Austrian musician around.
There was lot of travel involved as it said to be for European trips but because of the wonderful arrangements, we did not felt tired that much. Overall I would recommend everyone to go for Thomas Cook, as they fulfill what they promise. I would myself like to experience such trips to the remaining parts of the world with Thomas Cook.
