The trip to Aus/NZ was planned a month in advance. There was not much time left. Booking an abroad trip is an adventurous task. Thomas Cook representatives did well in organising the trip and making bookings at reasonable prices.
There were proper logistics in place for each day in the tour. SO was very happy on that front.
A special thanks to Vikas Choutapelly(our Tour manager for the trip code number - TCAUD 3005). We mistakenly left our camera pouch in one of the hotels in Australia. The bag around 6k INR in cash. We were not sure where we could have left the pouch. After the tour, we contacted Vikas and requested him to search for it. Without hesitation, he assured us he will get us the pouch when he goes for the next trip. He finally found the bag in Hotel The Grand Chancellor, Gold Coast, where he had to follow up with the hotel guys twice to see if they had the bag. After extensive followup, when he received the bag, he communicated effectively to us that he found our bag. He was diligent enough to check if that bag was ours. He made significant efforts bringing that back to India and sending it through Thomas Cook trainee back to Kolkata. Overall, it was an unbelievably good experience with him. Also, His conduct and his managing skills are suitable for an apt tour manager.
We had a great trip and look forward to such more.
