Johny Anthony and mammootty teamed up for yet another average comedy malayalam movie. Plot of the movie revolves around character thoppil joppan ( mammootty) a typical kottayam achayan character. But if u r expecting a performance like kottayam kunjanchan den this will definitely dissappoint you. Joppan is pure alchoholic he started drinking because of his love failure in bis young age. He will elope to bombay to make money to marry annie but when he come back its too late. He tries to overcome his forst love anniee but he never gets out of it until he meets maria( mamta) . But even she was in love with an another guy which joppan will help them to elope and get married. Joppan continues drinking but his mom compels him to attend rehab. Joppan and his gang attend rehab there he meets annie again. She still dint get married which gives high hopes for joppan but unfortunately she came for pre .maritial conselling with her fiance who is handicaped in a accident. But joppan overcomes his feelings and wont go back to drinking and finally get married to another girl. Movie is one time watchable even some of comedy scenes is not upto the mark.
