Don't Pick Me!!!

If ever a book needs to be chosen for the ’’Don’t Pick Me’’ award, then this is the book I would pick first...

Humour is taken to deepest netherworlds in this book as an author who seems to be in a desperate attempt to create comedy is writing...

I have been reading this book for the last month -- and have not been able to proceed for more than 2-3 pages a day...The plot is so thin and the language is so dreary -- I recommend this for all the insomniacs

The author has an uncanny ability of deviating from the main plot (or whatever it is) to sooo many sidetrips -- you are left in one dizzy spell. Of the 120 pages I have been able to ingest (i will not use the word digest here), around 10 pages might have said the whole story.

So many oft repeated cliches, so many desperate attempts to create humour, characters who can but bring out a snicker in you -- this book is everything a book should not be...

If anybody compares this to a PG Wodehouse -- for some insane reason -- pleeeeaseeee, do not heed to them for these are 2 writers who are Genres apart..

Ip.s: I am reading this book and will complete it, cos this is a gift from a dear friend :) :(
