I was getting some emails from some healthcare affiliates about some combined testing plan that would cost much lower than conventional rates in hospitals.
These emails were sent by people who were affiliated with thyrocare and I headed to the thyrocare website and I was scanning through all the plans offered by them one of them was called aarogyam 1.8 which had almost 88 tests but cist like 2500 rupees for a person I also saw an offer listed in their website for 83 tests for 2 people for Rs 3350, since it was cheaper than the other tests and since it looked into the important parameters like heart health, sugar, thyroid, metal concentration, vitamin d etc I booked a particular date to take the tests.
Thyrocare called me a day earlier than the test date and wanted to come then since I was busy on that particular day I asked the to come the next day;the next day arrived I had not consumed food and had bunked college to take the tests but no one came, I called the blood collector and he said that he would only come the next day. The next day he came at 7 45 am and took two vials of blood from me and my father; both these vials had barcodes on them so that they wouldn’t be misplaced, I paid the agent the money;I got my results via email and by courier service 2 to 3 days later. The test results were pretty accurate and for 3 thousand rupees we had done tests which would cost almost 10k in reputed hospitals so very happy with thyrocare for this service. the delay while taking tests was the only problem I had with them.
