=============================================

Let us eat and drink; for tomorrow we shall die.

=============================================

There we go again to explore another eating joint.. this time close to our home on a weekday for lunch.

We wanted to try authentic East Asian Cuisine which I have been missing for somtime now and trust me you rarely get authentic Chinese food in India. Fried Rice/noodles, Chopsuey, manchurain etc is a joke in the name of chinese food - Chinese food has far more variety then we can register or think ..

Lets get going - The parking can be a problem on weekend evenings..no waiting time for us, being a weekday afternoon. Reservations must on weekends/evenings.

The restaurant is spread on 4/5 floors & has a lift: the ground floor being a

cafe/Lounge bar and the 3rd being a Teppanyaki restaurant(Japanese food).

We dined on the 1st floor being the Chinese and Indonesian restaurant.

Ambience and decor: The 1st floor has pleasant ambience rich in wood and the restaurant here has a spacious look - its kinda a bit bare.

Music was cool nothing to rave about. Seating is comfortable especially the cubicles on the right hand side - AC is cool. (There was a fly bothering us for a few minutes!!)

Restaurant was almost empty with only a couple of more tables occupied. Decent service, friendly educated staff (they knew about the food well)

Delicious Food

Now believe me this was the best part: They have a menu which has Chinese, Thai, Indonesian & Japanese dishes (they have a north Indian food menu also but that I can always eat at home).

We started off with wanton soup and my favourite Dimsum(6 pieces for 130 bucks). Ahh the Veg dimsums were very delicious and perfectly steamed ....served with peanut sauce ..nirvana so early in the meal.

For the main meal we had Steam rice, Thai fish(Revas) with Basil and Vegetable Bean curd with Black bean sauce followed later on by Thai chicken flat noodles ..

Thai fish was excellent and simply a gourmet’s delight - I highly recommend it. Same with the tangy flat chicken noodles which were a bit spicy and simply divine. The bean curd was quite good too ...OK by now you know that the food is GOOOOOOOOOD.

The pricing is ok considering that I am an Amex card holder entitled to a 20% discount (he he). Obviously the food was a bit more for 2 people ;--) but we managed to almost down it and the bill was Rs. 720

Highly recommended for ones who dare to try different kinds of cusines & are ready to experiment.

Tian means Heavenly and the food certainly was ..HEAD THERE AND YOU MIGHT MEET ME

And they have drinks for all ...

On a funnier note:

’’My grandmother is over eighty and still doesn’t need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle’’
