Im surprised that this restaurant comes recommended by most of the writers here. The following is my letter to the director (verbatim) - for which I received no reply. Read on, this spicy stuff will tickle your palates, for sure

TIAN Juhu
Date: 15th July 2002
Ref: Bill no 2510/2401. date 12th July 2002. table no 10
Despite being a resident of Juhu, I got my first opportunity to eat at your establishment on the above date. I was horrified at the quality of the food, and the serivice in your restaurant. Just some salient points, of my worst ever culinary experience in Mumbai city-
I had a 9.45 table. I was called at my residence as I was running 15 mins late. Jenny was told we would be there in 5 ; which we were, only to be kept waiting 15 minutes for a table
We were kept waiting a further 15 minutes for the menu
We ordered item no. 1 as a starter, which is supposed to come with a special tangy (note the red colour font on the menu!!) sauce. It didnt.
We were not served any kim chi at our table.
Your waiter(s) were asked several times for a 7 up / sprite, and it took them over 20 minutes to comply.
It took them 40 minutes and 5 reminders to serve Chinese tea, which I finally turned down, as the whole purpose of the tea had been nullified
One soup was ice cold, while another had double salt.
Going back to point no. 3 as above, your smart stewardess gives us the common sauce platter, saying this is the sauce, for the now cold sesame chicken. (If thats the case, shouldnt ALL items in the menu be in red?). Is Bahadur the gorkha your oriental chef?
It then took ANOTHER 20 minutes for your manager (a Mr. Lobo, I was told), to appear. He didnt, eventually. A Mr. Somnath came, apologized, and said he would personally (sic) look into our table. He promptly disappeared
The drinks, though ordered by me, we served ONLY to me. All 3 of them. Your waiters obviously never went to catering school. By the way, the Mojito was served as the Capirojka, and vice versa. Cheers.
The chicken dish left an aftertaste of stale meat, and your lamb was undercooked, even though I specifically asked for lamb only if the meat was tender.
And to think I took my mum there to celebrate her bday!. What further surprised me was that after being told all this, Mr. Somnath had the audacity to actually send me a bill. I paid, of course. I felt sorry for you. Youll need every penny you can get, to stay afloat.
