Tide To The Rescue!

Before the birth of my last child six years ago, (she is the one in the picture with me), we were given so many new and used baby clothes that her closet was running over. But some of the cutest outfits were used, and a few of them had stains that had been set in from the previous owners.

My Mother told me to get Tide, the type that comes with the all fabric bleach and soak the clothes in this before running through the wash.

I must admit, at first I was a bit skeptical. Oh sure I had used tide before, but never dreamed it could remove the stains that were on some of these clothes.

I mixed up a paste from the detergent and applied it onto the spot, working it into the fabric thoroughly before dropping it into the washing machine to soak.

After a short soaking time, I then let the machine drain and added the correct amount of detergent and let it run normally. When I removed the clothes, almost every single stain was out and the clothes turned out to be the ones she wore the most and got the most compliments on.

So I guess you could say, Tide came to the rescue!
