Plot -
The story of the movie is created on a real life incident which is the rescuing mission of the Indian nurses who were held hostage in Iraq by terrorists in the year 2014 at a hospital in Tikrit(Iraq).
Story -
The story starts from where the 1st film Ek tha Tiger was ended. Indian RAW Agent Tiger(Salman Khan) and ISI Agent Zoya(Katrina Kaif) are now married and living a peaceful life with their son junior. Eight years has passed since they have left their agencies.
But the long sleep of tiger is going to end because of this difficult situation came infront of RAW, 25 Nurses who are Indian were held captive in a hospital of Ikrit(Iraq) by a militant organization. And the RAW has only 7 days to rescue the nurses before America does an airstrike to kill eliminate the organization.
So, to pull off this kind of difficult mission, RAW head Shenoy(Girish Karnad) tracks tiger down and appease him to do this one last mission for the sake of the country. After talking with Zoya he agrees to do Shenoy’s bidding again.
What is going to happen in the mission is fun to watch as the story ahead is full of action and star power of Salman Khan? And I donot want to ruin it for you.
Performance and Cast -
Salman Khan as Tiger has given an awesome performance. Katrina Kaif as Zoya has played her part well. The film is visually outstanding at some parts and with Salman’s performance it seems the tiger has definitely made a power pack come back. Supporting cast Abu Usman as Sajjad Delafrooz, Paresh Rawal as Firdauz aka Tohbaan, Angad Bedi as Namit has done a fabulous job.
Direction by Ali Abbas Zafar was good. Screenplay was on an average scale as the movie drags sometimes but the star power of Salman Khan will not let you feel that.
Dialouges were nicely timed there are also some patriotic one liners. And there is also a very good message in the movie.
Music and Cinematography -
Music by Vishal and Shekhar is a job well done and the song Dil Diyan Gallan by Atif Aslam was icing on the cake makes its mark on your heart. Cinematography by Marcin Laskawiec has done a commendable job. Some scenes in snow and action scenes well well shooted and edited with the help of technical support.
SO at the end I will definitely recommend Salman’s fans to go for cinema hall, but if you are not a Salman fan then do not bother and wait till its is available on DVD aor internet.
