Update 05-Mar-2015: No internet since 27-Feb-2015. I called these guys several times, and every time they are throwing the same kind of excuses, and promising internet availability in next 8/6/2 hours. Been about 7 days, and no internet!
I stay in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad(Delhi NCR) and I have been using Tikona Broadband services for the last 5 months. I would not hesitate to admit that this probably was one of the biggest blunders I’ve done in recent years.
Tikona was quick to install the connection and collect 3 months advance rental(to ensure I can’t immediately opt out of their services). Apart from this, I never had any pleasing experience with Tikona. There hasn’t been even a single day when I got seamless Internet connectivity. The connection drops every 10-15 minutes. And at least twice in month we have days where Internet is down for 8-10 continuous hours. Calling their technical support everytime is nothing but wasting 15-20 minutes of my life. Support associates are parrots who sing the same tune everytime "Sir, your local main tower has connectivity issues with our main server. It’ll be rectified in 8-12 hours".
Prior to my insane decision to move to Tikona, I had been using Airtel broadband for past 3 years and there wasn’t even a single day when I faced connectivity issues. It was their unfair hike in broadband rental that pissed me enough to bid them adeiu. Time has come for me to kick Tikona out of my house.
To summarize, TIKONA IS HORRIBLE! UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE PEACE OF YOUR MIND, DON’T EVER GO FOR IT!
