Tikona - The Worst Internet I've ever Experienced!

My userid is 1111253430.

I’ve had a terrible experience with Tikona and as a part of helping my fellow netizens, I promise to do all I can to share my experience with as many people as possible.

Here goes my experience:

**Sunday:** No internet connection. I call up technical support. They tell me it’s an issue with tower and it’ll be fixed in 8 hrs.(Firstly, why 8 hrs if they’ve identified the issue, leaving people without internet all day).

I waited patiently for 10 hrs.

Called up again. They tell me that the issue has been fixed and make me disconnect, clear cache and all the standard jugad to make my internet work. Works for 5 minutes and then back to the same speed.

I call up again, they tell me I have consumed these many MB of data in last 2-3 hrs. Of course I have, because I need to send an email, but my email would never load completely and I keep hitting refresh in desperation.

**Monday:** I come back home in the evening, same situation. No internet speed, I call up again, and I am asked to do the routine exercise of disconnecting, connecting. They show me the speedtest, it’s 1.5 MBPS, but nothing still loads completely.

The guy tries hard to blame it on my router, my computer assuming I’ve never used internet(fact is, I work for the largest social network on internet).

They keep telling me about data consumption, of course, if the internet is slow, data would still be consumed, but it’s useless if I can’t even send a simple email.

**Tuesday:** Internet crawls all day, but I don’t have the patience to call customer care again.

**Wednesday:** Finally, I decide to call customer care. I am told there is an issue with the tower and it’ll be fixed in 8 hours.

I don’t know what’s gonna happen after 8 hrs and thereafter, maybe it’s an infinite loop. I am trying to work from home today, but looks like I’ll have to watch TV all day.

By the way, I run a Facebook page called "**Connecting the Unconnected**" that’s directed towards the rural population without internet. But seems like I’ll have to include the Tikona subscribers in the "Unconnected" category.

PS: It took me a few attempts to write this review because of the great internet speed I have. I could have used this time to send a couple of important emails I had to, but I decided to write this review to help my fellow netizens.
