Pathetic experience post disconnection

I had used tikona account for almost 3 years and though I used to have speed issues quite often, I sticked to it because I thought it was a professional company committed to providing it’s user satisfactory services but then I started having problems I never thought I would have post disconnection request. First I had to call the customer care a lot of times to even get connected to their operator and when I did get connected, they would not take down my request easily. They would try to convince me in spite of me telling them that it was not possible as I was relocating. After lot of hassle, I got the disconnection request registered but then I started getting their monthly bill invoices though I had raised disconnection request and though I had paid all my bills till the last billing cycle for which I was using their services. After speaking to their customer care I was told that I have no outstanding bills and it was probably sent because the system is automated. The bills stopped coming and device collection also happened smoothly but today I got a call from someone claiming to be a lawyer that I have a case registered against me by Tikona for not having paid outstanding bills and that the case would be registered in Delhi court. This call came from number+91 7734841454. I told the person that I even have the receipts of all the bills paid. He then demanded Rs40, 000 and to pay it in court. I was shocked. I searched the number online and I found that similar harassing calls had been made from this number to other users as well. SHAME on TIKONA for stooping so low because they must have shared my contact details. I had heard that there are issues with Tikona post termination of connection but never thought I would face it as well.


I hope they take lesson from this and other countless incidences which other users have reported and take action against such elements who are harassing it’s users. If it is indeed Tikona who is doing all this then there cannot be a worst ISP than Tikona.
