You may call me a fool as I read overwhelmingly negative reviews about Tikona still I actually got a connection. I was positive that mine would work just fine. I was wrong as I realized that a non-wired connection cannot match the stability and quality of a wired one.
Don’t be fooled by that 2 minutes demo when you apply for Tikona as it is probably sugar coated.
I have been a Tikona customer for 3 months now and my connectivity was down for more than 20 days. Though I have a 4mbps plan, I never got more that 3.5 mbps and 80% of the time, it was below 2 mbps.
After sales service is bad, very bad. My suggestion is to pay a little extra for a wired connection like Airtel / MTNL etc. Don’t fall into cheap rental trap . STAY AWAY from Tikona.
